What's new
What changed recently, and what it changes for you.
Your game in progress, at the top of “Join a game”
On the Multiplayer page, “Resume your game” no longer floats over the “Join a game” card: it takes its title line, with your game code first. And it no longer shows up for a game that has already ended or no longer exists.
See itLook back at your last game with someone
On the Multiplayer page, each person in “Who you played with” now opens your last game together: who was there, the rounds, the ranking and your answers.
See itFind the people you played with
On the Multiplayer page, “Who you played with” shows the people you actually played with in recent weeks, in Multiplayer or in a game you shared, under the name you knew them by. “Play with them again” creates a room: send them the link from the room so they can join you. Nobody is notified on your behalf.
See itYour multiplayer games open again
A finished multiplayer game no longer opened from your games log or from the Multiplayer page. It leads to its recap again: who was there, each round with its standings, where you finished and your answers. Games you played as a guest before signing in to your account open too.
See itCarry on your game live when you’re all around
In a game with friends, “Play live” opens a multiplayer session with the same people. The quiz and the rules are picked there as usual — the game imposes nothing. The other members see the live session on the game page and join in one click, and leaving it brings you back to the game, where the sessions you played together stay part of the story.
See itChallenge your friends on the quiz you just played
At the end of a Classic or Exam quiz, “Challenge your friends” gives you a link. Your friends play the exact same questions, whenever they like, and see the score to beat. You all find your results in your game, from your progress page, and anyone can propose the next round there.
See itToday’s Survival in one tap
If you’ve played Survival before, “Play today’s Survival” on the home page now starts your ranked run right away, without going back through the page that explains the rule. New players still see it before their first run.
See itA group for each of your circles
Once you’re in a group, “Create another group” shows up on the home page and on the Survival page: one for family, one for friends, up to three. Two of your groups can’t share a name, and a group’s longest-standing member can now rename it. Your own name stays the same in all your groups.
See itPlay today’s Survival with your people
At the end of your ranked Survival, or from the Survival page, tap “Create a group” and send the link to your people: they join without an account. Every day, the home page shows who played, with what streak, and who hasn’t played yet. Everyone plays their own Survival and the rules don’t change: the group just compares.
See itYour Survival runs finally have a report
In your games log, a finished Survival run now opens its report. You get your streak, the day you played, and the questions you actually answered. If a wrong answer ended the run, it appears first with the right answer and explanation; if time ran out, the report says so without inventing an answer. No score out of a total — a streak is not measured against an announced length.
See itQuiz questions get straight to the point
When the quiz already provides the context, its questions now use the shorter wording written for that game. No more unnecessary reminders of the topic, country or time period on every question.
See itYour progress page opens on what you still have to review
The progress page now starts with your cards to review, before the streak and the badges. Your level and XP have moved up into your player card. Your streak now reads over 26 weeks instead of the current week alone — on a Monday morning you finally see all of it. Earned badges form a shelf, the rest a progress list. And the games log groups by day instead of repeating the date on every line.
See itYour streak counts your days again
Your profile could say “Streak lost” while you were playing every day: two missed days, however long ago, were enough to pin the counter at zero for good. It shows the right number again — the streak you are actually on. Your record was never affected.
See itA game with friends that keeps the screen to itself
During a game with friends, the site footer no longer shows below the game. The lobby, the round and the results take the screen, and there is less to scroll through to get back to the action. The footer stays in place everywhere else.
See itA new home page: today’s lineup
The home page now opens on today’s Survival and the day’s lineup: the question of the day, Survival and a game with friends. Each line ticks off once you have played it. Just below come the question of the day and today’s leaderboard, then the ways to play at your own pace and the latest quiz.
See itSurvival: your days in a row, always in sight
Every day you play your ranked Survival run adds to the ones before. Your number of days in a row now shows with a flame next to “Survival” in the menu, at the top of the screen on mobile, on the Survival page and at the end of your ranked run. You can see at a glance whether you still have to play today or you are done until tomorrow.
See itA catalogue that is easier to browse
Topics now fit on a single row and filter the list without leaving the page. Search comes first, while difficulty and “Not played yet” sit behind “Filters”. A copied link reopens the same selection.
See itInvite a friend mid-game
Once the game has started, the “Invite” button in the top bar reopens the game code, QR code and link, for every player. A friend then arrives just like with any other invitation.
A proper footer
The bottom of every page now gathers the ways to play, the leaderboard and the project pages, arranged in columns. It also leads to Infinite Quiz’s offer for media, brands and events.
Multiplayer Classic: the game moves on by itself
Once half of the players have answered, a 15-second countdown starts. The correct answer shows for 7 seconds, then the next question comes, without waiting for the host.
See itMultiplayer: the game continues if the host disappears
When the host disconnects, another connected player can take over after a short delay. The game stays playable without automatically restoring the former host.
See itSurvival: the game over screen shows up right away
After a wrong answer, the screen froze for a moment before showing the game over. Your streak now appears as fast as a next question would, and the right answer follows just after, in its place.
See itNo more jumping blocks on load
On the home page and elsewhere, the title and buttons could shift right after appearing, while the font finished loading. That shift is gone.
The Question of the day gets its own page
The Question of the day only lived on the home page. It now has its own page: answer there, see the correction, and find out how the collective score and your streak work.
See itReview: your shakiest themes
The Review page now shows the themes where you score lowest, with how many questions to review in each, based on your answers in catalogue quizzes.
See itMultiplayer: Race, Classic and common questions
The Multiplayer page explains what Race and Classic change, and answers the questions people ask before starting a game: how many players, whether an account is needed, whether quizzes can be chained, what remains afterwards.
See itMultiplayer: your latest games at hand
On the Multiplayer page, your latest games show up with where you finished, and link to their recap. The block only appears once you have played.
See itReview: your queue and where you stand, on one page
The Review page shows how many questions are ready for your next session, the questions you have seen, your correct answers and your mistakes, and your latest reviews. It also explains which questions come back: your mistakes first, up to 20 per session.
See itInfinite Play: your latest sessions right at the start
The Infinite Play page now lists your latest sessions, with their correct answers, and links to their recap. Starting in general knowledge and picking a theme sit together at the top, and answers to common questions are gathered in one place.
See itJournal: your Survival runs under their own name
A Survival run used to show up in your journal as an untitled solo “Game”. It now reads “Survival”, ranked or training, with your streak. The Survival page also lists your latest runs, how many ranked runs you’ve played and your best ranked streak.
See itSurvival: today’s leaderboard right at the start
The Survival page now shows the top of today’s leaderboard, and your place if you’ve already played. Once your ranked run is done, it offers “Replay as training” right away. The rules and answers to common questions are gathered in one place.
See itSurvival: ranked runs resume after reloading
When two players clicked the same spot on the same question of the daily challenge, some of the second player’s answers were not saved, and the end of their run could show up without the correction. Every run now saves its own answers. Reloading the page in the middle of a ranked run now picks it up where you left off instead of losing it.
See itInfinite Play, play without stopping
As many questions as you want, in general knowledge or on a theme you pick, with a correction and an explanation after every answer. You stop whenever you want, and you can also keep playing right after finishing a quiz.
See itSurvival, the elimination mode
One wrong answer ends the run. Chain questions together, push for your longest streak, and compare it on the daily leaderboard.
See itSolo play fits on a phone
The question, its correction and the continue button are now visible together, with no scrolling.
The "All time" leaderboard finally answers
That tab took more than five seconds to load. It now answers almost instantly, and the table no longer empties when you switch period.
See itCatalogue filters actually work
The category filter was filtering nothing, and "Not played yet" kept unchecking itself. Both are fixed, and an active filter is now visible.
See itClassic multiplayer loses its dead time
You see who has already answered, never what they picked. The reveal fires as soon as everyone has answered, with no needless wait. At the reveal you see who was right, who was wrong and who let it pass.
See itYour progress on a quiz
Games finished, new personal best, gap with your previous comparable attempt, faster play time. No negative signal: a weaker run says nothing.
See itMultiplayer games now leave a trace
A finished game becomes a page that stays, open to everyone who played: who was there, the rounds played, the ranking with ties marked, and your own answers.
See itThe Journal is now navigable
A finished solo game now opens on the question-by-question review. Each quiz page also shows your last three attempts.
See itInfinite Quiz moves to version 2
New interface, new way to sign in, new catalogue. The dedicated page explains what changed and how to find your account again.
