1. Data Collected and Used
To create a durable account, you have the option to sign in with your Discord or Google account. When signing in with your Google account, we collect your first name, last name, language preference, avatar, and email address. When signing in with your Discord account, we collect your username, email address, and avatar.
When you play, we save your results, your score and your progress so you can track your performance and find your games again. We also update your score for each quiz completed.
The quizzes and questions you create or have created are kept as site content. Your unpublished content stays private; your published content may be played by other visitors.
We measure page visits anonymously through a self-hosted analytics service, without advertising cookies and without identity.
2. Visitor, Guest and Account
As a visitor, you can browse and explore the catalogue without creating an account and without any personal data being collected for that purpose.
As a guest, you play without creating an account: no email address is needed. Your progress is tied to an anonymous identity kept on our servers. The account deletion flow built into the site is reserved for durable accounts; for any question or request regarding your data, you can contact us (see Contact section).
With a durable account (Google or Discord), your account data, progress and content are linked to your identity, and you can request the deletion of your account and your data (see below).
3. Account and Data Deletion
You can request the deletion of your durable account and your personal data.
From your preferences, in the Privacy section, you can submit a deletion request and track its status there.
Your request is recorded and then reviewed manually. We will inform you of the outcome within the timeframes provided for by the GDPR; this processing is not instant.
What Is Deleted
The following are deleted: your profile information, your statistics, badges and recap links, usage data linked to your account, your voice sessions, your internal credits, and your unpublished quizzes and questions.
What Is Kept, Anonymously or Detached
Your game history is kept for service quality but permanently detached from your identity: it can no longer be linked to you. Your published quizzes and questions remain playable by other players, but your attribution is replaced by the neutral label “Anonymous contributor”.
A record of your deletion request is kept as proof of processing. After deletion, it is no longer linked to an active profile or account, and no reverse link allows identifying you.
4. Embedded Content from Other Websites
The articles on this site may include embedded content (such as videos, images, articles, etc.). The embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, and track your interactions with embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to their website.
